We had one more road trip in mind and decided to do it this week too!..we went to drive the Olympic Penninsula and stopped at the Olympic Game Farm and Hurricane Ridge..amazingly fun things to do..altho they were paving up to the Ridge, so we had about a 45 min wait to get up, and then down- so if you plan on going, factor that into your time frame!..but it was incredible once you get up there...
I had always wanted to go to the game farm- you drive thru and the animals are loose, except for the bears and rhino...they come right up to the car and you can feed them bread!!..kinda freaky to have a big yak or elk want to stick their head in your car!!..so fun to see these animals up close and personal!!...take the kids and go!

That is a fun place to go. Some of those animals sure do smell when they stick their heads inside the window...and big slobbery tongues...the kids loved it!
Is that the place in Sequim? We took Lexi there when she was about a year old and had a huge bison (I think that's what it was anyway) try to lick the window. It was nasty!
I think I will just enjoy the photos and narrative! Looks like you two have been having a fun summer.
