Someone commented on me being left handed the other day..someone I have known for a long while and they had not ever noticed I write with my left hand. I am one of a minority of people, since I do many things with either or both hands.
I write, eat and brush my teeth with my left hand, but cut with scissors, play baseball and open jars with my right hand. I can iron or vacuum or sweep with either hand equally well!!..
My parents were/are both rightys and my sister and I are both leftys!!..my Dad's father was left handed, is that the family connection?..does there have to be one?..hmm??

Oh I LOVE this post. I'm also left-handed. We have an "odd" family... 3 lefties and 1 righty. I am also ambidextrous, though. Neither of my parents or Stacy's parents were left-handed... my maternal grandpa was also a lefty. There... more than you probably cared to know. :)
My daughter, Samantha, is left handed. She is the only one in my family and my husband's family. The scissors thing is painful to watch. But her teachers keep telling me she will learn how to adjust to them her own way.
